Splashy Summer Dresses

Peach, orange, tangerine, watermelon, raspberry, strawberry, guava–these juicy summer fruits are also such beautiful colors, and I have been looking for these colors for midi and maxi dresses to wear in the summer when it’s 105 degrees in Texas and I’m trying to look nice for Mass or even trying to be in something breezier than denim for a brunch out with the ladies. Since I did the House of Colour color consultation a few years ago, I donated all my black dresses and actually started wearing more corals, reds, and pinks. And this year, I actually found some beautiful dresses in guava and tangerine and peach! I’m sure it’s a big help that the Pantone color of the Year is Peach Fuzz! House of Colour “Springs,” rejoice!

Below, I’ve found 14 dresses that are beautiful, splashy midi and maxi dresses. The first dress is the most expensive ($128 at time of posting) and the last dress is the least expensive ($27 at posting). Right now, many of these stores are having massive sales ($100+ OFF a Banana Republic Factory dress? Yes, please!). You know I love my sales! If you look best in warm colors (House of Colour Autumns and Springs), the dresses with more orange will look best! If you look best in cool colors (House of Colour Summers and Winters), look for the dresses that have no orange–the more raspberry and fuchsia colors will best suit you!
