Ascension Presents: Marriage & Family

Filming

Today, there are those who say that marriage is out of fashion… They say that it is not worth making a life-long commitment, making a definitive decision, ‘for ever’, because we do not know what tomorrow will bring. I ask you, instead, to be revolutionaries, I ask you to swim against the tide; yes, I am asking you to rebel against this culture that sees everything as temporary and that ultimately believes you are incapable of responsibility, that believes you are incapable of true love” -Pope Francis

We’re living in a golden era for beautiful videography and new Catholic programming and resources.  Pope Benedict XVI challenged us to evangelize the “digital continent,” so off we go!  Bishop Robert Baron’s digital ministry through Word on Fire produces some phenomenal content, along with Ascension Press and their study programs.

We were blessed to get to do some filming with Ascension for some short videos to be timed with the World Meeting of Families.  Check out our footage, along with our friend Paul J. Kim and his family, and Cardinal Burke’s thoughts on the family as a “little church”:

Hi! I like the videos very much. You are an example of a beautiful, holy family. You radiate JOY! I am getting married on October 3rd and I really liked the idea with saying the vows over the crucifix. May I ask how does it work? Where exactly do you put the cross and what do you do with it after the vows? God bless, Magda
