We are Catholic Speakers, Authors, Evangelists, Bloggers, and goofballs for Christ. We love having fun, keeping it natural and relatable around here. With ten years of marriage under our belt and the experience of parenting five crazy kids, we’ve got plenty of stories to share.

Hi, We're the angels

Friends,

Two days before Christmas our third child was born.  John Fulton Angel came out pink and crying, ready to take on the world.  He’s a cool little dude.  We feel beyond blessed and are grateful for any prayers you may have offered for us.

We hope to continue creating content, especially new video content, in the 2018 year, so stay tuned!

If you’re looking for some kind of faith-based New Year’s Resolution to kickstart the new year, consider the following options:

  • Read the Bible in a year!  We’ve blogged about it here before and it can be done!  We just finished reading the whole Bible together for the first time here in 2017.  One young person who Bobby taught just did this as a college student.  Print out a handy roadmap, grab a buddy, and dust off your Bible!
  • Invite a stranger to Mass, resolve to go to Confession once a month, actually get a Spiritual Director, turn off your phone (gasp) once a day, forgive someone.  Check out some other great ideas from the folks at Life Teen.com.
  • Start fasting, find a pilgrimage to take part in, tithe and trust God with your finances, and other great suggestions offered over at Pierced Hands.
  • For Men, join a manly challenge based on daily prompts and fraternity over at either RISE: A 30-Day Challenge (a new program by Chris Stefanick and Bill Donaghy) or the Exodus 90 program by ThoseCatholicMen.com.

Don’t let perfectionism ruin you.  If you fail on the 2nd or 3rd day, who cares?  Don’t throw in the towel. Shake it off and resume your activities.  We can be great at starting a challenge or task but awful at finishing, and perfectionism is often the culprit. Only God himself (and well, Mary) is perfect so don’t put that pressure on yourself!

We are praying for you and excited to continue the juggle of ministry in the name of Christ and our messy family life into the new year.  Happy Feast of the Holy Family and Happy 2018!
