We are Catholic Speakers, Authors, Evangelists, Bloggers, and goofballs for Christ. We love having fun, keeping it natural and relatable around here. With ten years of marriage under our belt and the experience of parenting five crazy kids, we’ve got plenty of stories to share.

Hi, We're the angels

We were recently blessed to host a viewing of “Outcasts,” the latest documentary from Grassroots Films, at Servite High School. These award-winning producers of “The Human Experience” and “Child 31″ detail now the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (CFRs) in their global ministry. The film moves from New York to the prisons of Central America, the dark city streets of London,  to Ireland’s despondent neighborhoods.

The film is powerful.  Expertly filmed, stepping into the lives of our modern day outcasts certainly stretches your comfort zone and pierces your heart.  The Franciscans are the vehicle for showcasing the poor around the world.  It’s beautiful and heart-wrenching.

The message is clear: the poor are always with us–what will we do about it?

“Keep a clear eye toward life’s end. Do not forget your purpose and destiny as God’s creature. What you are in his sight is what you are and nothing more. Remember that when you leave this earth, you can take nothing that you have received…but only what you have given; a full heart enriched by honest service, love, sacrifice, and courage.”

-St. Francis
